Our Oncology team is dedicated to delivering breakthrough innovations that extend and improve the lives of cancer patients worldwide.The District Manager is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Oncology sales team to achieve business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of customer engagement and compliance. This role drives execution excellence, develops future talent, and fosters strong cross-functional collaboration to maximize patient access and business growth across the assigned territory.
**What You Will Do**
**Business Leadership**
Deliver sales and market share objectives across assigned Oncology products and accounts.
Develop and execute district business plans aligned with franchise and organizational priorities.
Identify business opportunities and implement strategic actions to maximize growth potential.
Monitor business performance and proactively address gaps to ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
**People Leadership & Talent Development**
Recruit, coach, and develop Oncology Sales Representatives to achieve individual and team performance goals.
Conduct regular field coaching and provide timely, actionable feedback to enhance capabilities and customer engagement excellence.
Build a high-performance culture through accountability, recognition, and continuous development.
Lead talent review, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational capability.
**Customer & Stakeholder Management**
Develop strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and healthcare institutions.
Partner with key stakeholders to identify customer needs and deliver value-based solutions.
Support strategic account planning and execution to optimize customer experience and patient outcomes.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**
Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations, and other stakeholders to drive business success.
Ensure alignment between field execution and brand strategy.
Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance customer engagement and organizational effectiveness.
**Compliance & Ethics**
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Foster a strong compliance culture within the district team.
Maintain accurate business forecasting and reporting processes.
**WHAT YOU MUST HAVE**
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree or above in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
**Required Experience & Capabilities**
- Strong oncology or specialty care sales experience with a proven track record of business performance.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Proven people leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and retain talent.
- Strong field coaching capabilities, including sales excellence, customer engagement, account planning, and performance management.
- Experience in talent development, succession planning, and building future leadership pipelines.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into effective execution and measurable outcomes.
- Experience managing district performance through KPI monitoring, opportunity identification, and action planning.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other key stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong stakeholder engagement and account management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics, compliance, and company values.
