Experian also takes pride in being an employer that promotes equal opportunity and affirmative action_ #### Job Description We are looking for a **Backend Specialist** to work in the **Identity and Fraud unit of Serasa Experian**, within the **Platforms** team, with cross-functional work across different squads. The position will focus on raising engineering productivity and quality, working in partnership with **Tech Leads, Architecture and Development teams** on the evolution of standards, platforms and technical practices. We are looking for someone with strong backend experience and practical interest in **AI applied to software development**, using tools such as **ChatGPT, Claude, agents, skills and automations** to accelerate development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting and code review. **Main Responsibilities:** - Work cross-functionally across squads, supporting technical decisions and the evolution of the platforms. - Work with Tech Leads and Architecture to define standards, best practices and reusable solutions. - Identify bottlenecks in development and implement improvements in productivity and quality. - Explore and spread the use of **ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents, skills and automations** across the development lifecycle. - Support the evolution of backend architectures, APIs, microservices and distributed solutions. - Create components, templates and tools that accelerate the teams' work. - Share knowledge and support the technical growth of engineers. #### Qualifications - Solid experience in backend development and high-scale systems. - Advanced experience with **C# / .NET**. - Experience with **Azure and/or AWS**, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and MongoDB. - Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, distributed systems and CI/CD. - Hands-on experience using **ChatGPT, Claude or similar generative AI tools** in software development. - Knowledge of **AI-assisted development** practices, such as code generation and review, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, agents and automations. - Ability to work cross-functionally with Architecture, Tech Leads, Engineering and Product. - Good communication, technical influence and a mindset of continuous improvement. **Nice to Have:** - Experience with **Go (Golang)**. - Experience with Platform Engineering or Developer Experience. - Experience creating **agents, skills, MCPs, workflows or automations with AI**. - Experience in Identity, Security or Fraud Prevention solutions. #### Additional Information Experian Careers - Creating a better tomorrow together [Find out what it's like to work for Experian by clicking here](https://www.experian.com/careers/)
