We build, operate, and evolve the platforms that support hundreds of developers and dozens of squads, ensuring a development journey that is secure, reliable, and efficient. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to work on the evolution of our engineering platforms, with a focus on CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, observability, and Developer Experience. You will have room to influence architectural decisions, lead strategic initiatives, and help define the standards that will be used across the entire organization. If you enjoy solving complex problems, automating processes, scaling platforms, and making an impact across all of engineering, this position is for you. What you will do - Evolve and maintain the corporate CI/CD platform based on GitLab. - Design and develop infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform. - Create reusable modules, components, and blueprints that accelerate and standardize cloud adoption. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the platform, defining rollout, rollback, and risk mitigation strategies. - Work on modernizing engineering processes and tools. - Improve the experience of development teams through automation and self-service. - Ensure the availability and reliability of critical platforms such as GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, Renovate, Harness, and Checkmarx. - Work with observability, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and reliability indicators. - Support squads in investigations, troubleshooting, incidents, and infrastructure challenges. - Influence technical decisions and spread best practices in Platform Engineering and DevOps. Impact of the position Your work will have a direct impact on the productivity of Serasa's engineering teams. The solutions you build will be used by multiple products and squads, helping to increase delivery speed, raise application quality, and strengthen the reliability of the platforms that support the business. #### Qualifications - Solid experience with AWS. - Hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments. - Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar platforms. - Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with automation using Python. - Knowledge of observability using Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, or equivalent tools. - Experience with Linux environments and distributed systems. - Experience with troubleshooting and solving complex problems. - Knowledge of modern DevOps and Platform Engineering practices.
