Microsoft Excel Specialist

**Pay:** $30-$100 per hour (USD). Role Title: Microsoft Excel Specialist Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging experienced Microsoft Excel Specialists to support a customer project focused on completing and documenting real-world spreadsheet workflows. In this role, you’ll use your hands-on Excel experience to complete practical tasks involving spreadsheets, formulas, data analysis, reporting, and visualization. Scope of Work 01. Complete realistic, day-to-day workflows using Microsoft Excel. 02. Create, organize, format, and manage spreadsheets and workbooks. 03. Use common and advanced formulas and functions to solve practical problems. 04. Create and work with Pivot Tables to summarize and analyze data. 05. Clean, organize, filter, and transform datasets within Excel. 06. Create charts, graphs, reports, and dashboards to present information clearly. 07. Review spreadsheets to identify formula errors, incorrect data, or formatting issues. 08. Explain the steps and Excel features used to complete different tasks. 09. Create realistic spreadsheet examples based on business, finance, operations, or analytical workflows. 10. Follow project guidelines and provide clear written documentation and feedback. Preferred Qualifications 1. Strong hands-on experience using Microsoft Excel in a professional environment. 2. Proficiency with Excel formulas and functions, Pivot Tables, sorting, filtering, and data formatting. 3. Experience analyzing, cleaning, and organizing data using Excel. 4. Experience creating charts, reports, or dashboards. 5. Ability to independently complete common and advanced Excel workflows. 6. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify spreadsheet or data errors. 7. Ability to clearly explain how Excel tasks are completed. 8. Professional experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, operations, data analysis, research, or a related field is a plus.
