Job description
**Marketing Manager (m/f/d), maternity leave cover, fixed-term for 12 months**
This role is part of our picdrop team, a brand of saas.group.
picdrop is the platform for image approval and image delivery. Photographers share their shoots, get their clients' selections back and deliver the final images. Teams at sports clubs, media agencies and brands use picdrop to manage large volumes of images, coordinate and share them internally and with partners. In total, over 200,000 photographers, designers and teams work with picdrop.
#### What it's about
We are looking for reinforcement for a 12-month maternity leave cover. You will keep our partner, affiliate and influencer programmes running and grow them, generate B2B leads in the DACH region, and be responsible for our presence at the events our customers actually attend. The role is broad and from the first week you take on real responsibility: short decision paths, no lengthy (but good) onboarding, and the freedom to try new things.
#### What you will achieve in the first 3 months
- You take over the partner, affiliate and influencer programmes and make sure they run smoothly. You look after existing partners and bring new ones on board.
- You generate B2B leads, set up campaigns, create case studies and measure the results. Your target group is mainly sports clubs, media agencies and brand teams.
- You plan our presence at an industry event, from sponsorship to booth to follow-up, and show based on the leads what the event delivered overall.
#### Your tasks
- You look after and expand our affiliate programme: onboarding new partners, commissions, payouts and reporting.
- You are responsible for our influencer and partner portfolio, from photographers through industry associations to event partners, and make sure partner, affiliate and creator activities are aligned.
- You plan and test B2B campaigns for segments such as sports clubs, media agencies and brand teams, and work with our Customer Success team to find out what leads to success.
- You plan and manage our appearances at photo festivals, trade fairs and industry events, and organise our own formats such as meetups for photographers or workshops.
- You turn event and partner contacts into leads and use the numbers to decide what we should do more of and what less of.
#### What you bring
- At least 4 years of marketing experience, with B2B campaigns and/or partner or affiliate programmes that you have fully owned yourself, ideally with a connection to the photography or creative industry.
- Confident in spoken and written German and English: you can write a landing page and an email sequence in both languages. (German does not have to be your mother tongue.)
- A good feel for numbers: you not only build dashboards but also derive decisions from data.
- Practical event experience: you have already planned a trade fair or event appearance.
- You see what needs to be done and get going quickly. Taking responsibility in a small team appeals to you.
- An understanding of photography or the creative industry is a big plus: you understand who our customers are and what matters to them.
#### What we offer
- **Full flexibility:** In our Berlin office, remote, or hybrid: you work from wherever you want.
- **Freedom and ownership:** We rely on trust. You solve problems your way and get the support from the team you need.
- **Little bureaucracy:** Endless meetings and paperwork are not really our thing.
- **Our network:** In the saas.group community we exchange successes, failures, ideas, knowledge and experiences with our peers.
- **Flexible time off**
- **Real responsibility from day 1**
