Mandarin Transcription Expert

**Pay:** $20-$30 per hour (USD). Role Title: Mandarin Transcription Expert Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote micro1 is engaging Mandarin Transcription Experts to contribute to a project focused on creating high-quality transcriptions from audio samples in both Mandarin and English. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. Scope of Work 1. Listen closely to audio recordings in Mandarin and English, providing accurate, verbatim transcriptions. 2. Annotate transcribed text with relevant tags or contextual notes as required by the project guidelines. 3. Review, proofread, and edit transcripts to ensure the highest accuracy and consistency. 4. Follow detailed instructions and maintain formatting standards throughout the transcription process. 5. Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify ambiguous content and resolve linguistic challenges. 6. Deliver finalized transcriptions within agreed-upon project timelines and quality expectations. 7. Contribute linguistic insights to enhance AI model understanding and performance for Mandarin language data. Preferred Qualifications 1. Native fluency in Mandarin with advanced listening and comprehension skills. 2. Demonstrated experience in professional-level transcription, especially handling Mandarin audio samples. 3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free deliverables. 4. Familiarity with transcription tools or platforms is highly desirable. 5. Capability to work independently and manage project deliverables remotely. 6. Experience with bilingual Mandarin-English projects is a plus. 7. Interest in contributing to AI training and language technology initiatives.
