About the Role:

Autism Believe Accept Therapy Services is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate HR and Payroll Administrator to join our dedicated team in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities:

Process accurate and timely payroll for all staff, ensuring compliance with federal and California state regulations
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
Assist with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation
Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries
Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with applicable employment laws
Support performance management processes and maintain documentation
Respond to employee HR and payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or a related role
Solid knowledge of California labor laws and payroll compliance requirements
Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Gusto, or similar)
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
