Job Description
_Be an active contributor to the future of pig production in Denmark_
Are you a veterinarian motivated by combining professional expertise, practical problem-solving in herds, and close collaboration with veterinarians and pig producers? Do you want to contribute to the development of a sustainable future for Danish pig production? Then this might be the opportunity you are looking for.
In our organization, we work based on the vision of _Science of Healthier Animals_ and a strong belief in prevention as the foundation for both animal welfare and productivity. Our ambition is clear: We want to deliver solutions, not just products. By combining scientific insight, commercial understanding, and technological possibilities, we strive to be the preferred partner for Danish swine veterinarians and producers.
The Danish pig industry is facing significant challenges and changes. We want to play an active role in this development. Therefore, we are now looking for a **Customer Engagement Manager – Swine** in Denmark. This is a central, market-facing role where you will build strong relationships based on trust and translate insights into concrete results.
As our swine expert in the field, you will become a trusted partner for veterinarians and producers across the country. You will have significant influence on customer activities, strategic initiatives, and the continued development of our business in Denmark.
**Your role**
You will be responsible for activities within the swine sector in Denmark and work closely with dedicated colleagues in the Nordic swine team. Your workdays will be varied and will range from dialogue with veterinarians and herd visits to more strategic planning and cross-functional projects.
You will play an important role in helping customers navigate an increasingly complex industry by identifying opportunities, challenging existing approaches, and supporting the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions.
**Your tasks consist of:**
- Building and developing strong collaborations with Danish swine veterinarians and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting the work of swine veterinarians in herds through diagnostic support and input for problem-solving.
- Educating and training herd staff in optimal vaccination routines.
- Translating science and analysis into practical, value-adding solutions.
- Participating in relevant project collaborations with swine veterinarians and other partners.
- Collaborating internally across functions with colleagues in the Swine, Livestock, Marketing, and Technology Solutions departments.
- Contributing directly to our sales and activity goals as well as helping to shape our long-term strategy for the swine area in Denmark.
**Who are you?**
You want to combine veterinary expertise with a commercial and solution-oriented approach. You thrive in the field, enjoy building relationships, and are motivated by translating insights into practical solutions for customers.
You are curious, adaptable, and driven by helping customers succeed in an industry under constant development.
**We imagine that you have:**
- A Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine (veterinarian).
- Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of Danish pig production.
- Practical experience from the pig industry, veterinary practice, consulting, or a similar customer-oriented role.
- A commercial and collaborative approach as well as motivation to create business results.
- A proactive and independent work style combined with a strong team spirit.
- Good scientific understanding and knowledge of relevant disease areas.
- High personal engagement, drive, and focus on results.
- Strong relational and communicative skills.
- A structured and data-driven approach as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
**We offer**
- A full-time position based in Denmark with a home office.
- 70-80% of working time "in the field" in Denmark, with occasional multi-day trips in the Nordics and Europe.
- Excellent opportunities for professional development and continuous learning within our focus areas.
- The opportunity to influence the future development of our work with swine health in Denmark.
- A strong Nordic team culture based on trust, openness, knowledge sharing, and care for one another.
- An environment where ideas are valued, expertise is recognized, and where the ambition to create value for customers drives our development.
- The opportunity to make a real difference for animal welfare, productivity, and the future of Danish pig production.
- An attractive salary package based on qualifications, including pension, company car, and home office equipment.
You will be part of an experienced Nordic swine team with strong competencies in both science, herd consulting, and commercial development. We believe that the best solutions are created through collaboration, curiosity, and mutual respect.
